Story: Dave (Alexander England) is a failed musician who decides to accompany his nephew on a field trip after having felt a crush on Professor Miss Caroline (Lupita Nyong'o), who also catches the attention of Teddy McGiggle (Josh Gad), An idol of the little ones. This day of leisure for children, takes an unexpected turn when an outbreak of zombies appears that puts their lives at risk, causing Dave and Miss Caroline to unite to protect students.
Little Monsters is starring Dave (Alexander England), a good man for nothing who only thinks of himself. Dave is a bum in the middle of a crisis: his girlfriend has left him, he has lost his job, although he proudly continues to insist that he is in charge of a band, they separated years ago. He is abusing his sister's hospitality, until he joins an excursion of his nephew and Miss Caroline (Lupita Nyong'o), an extremely patient and smiling kindergarten teacher. Both are involved in a zombie infection when they go for a walk with Miss Caroline's class to a natural park in Australia, which unfortunately is very close to an American military base that was experienced with the undead. Thus, both will have to take care of protecting the children, among which is Dave's nephew, Max (Charlie Whitley), while looking for some way to escape from the zombie-infested park.
This is a film that uses the absurd to generate truly hilarious situations, such as the scene in which Miss Caroline has to distract the children of zombies with a rather animated version of “Shake it off” by Taylor Swift, in ukulele , or the sequences in which we see the "zombified" version of the park mascot. The contrast between the innocence of the children and their teacher, and the brutality of the situation they have gotten into results in an experience at times shocking, but consistently fun.

Lupita Nyong'o is great as always (Miss Caroline must be the most heroic and optimistic kindergarten teacher in history), Alexander England is credible enough as a guy who has to go from being a complete useless, to a more compassionate hero and empathic, and Josh Gad steals some scenes as an alcoholic, nymphomaniac, and in general, quite nasty child animator. Frequently bloody, occasionally vulgar, and consistently funny, "Little Monsters" shows that there is still some life left, to the zombie comedy subgenre.Little Monsters is a must see for all those who love to watch the comedy movies. The movie is received generally positive reviews from audience. Overall the movie is good.
