The Unbreakable Boy: Scott LeRette's son Austin is going to start middle school, which will be the most traumatic experience of his life, and his father is quite worried about him. Austin's bones are brittle due to a genetic condition called osteogenesis imperfecta. He was born with shattered ribs. When he was able to stand and walk, he shattered a few more. Scott will drop Austin off at school on the first day. He worries a lot about what his classmates will think of him. The scenes that are told from Austin's point of view are the best in the movie. Austin always remains upbeat and finds joy in everything. However, Scott and his spouse, Teresa, are experiencing stress due to life's obstacles.
Austin never loses his optimism, which is the apparent message of The Unbreakable Boy Flixtor to. He loves everything to the fullest, while Scott and Teresa are overwhelmed by life's challenges. Although there is a lesson to be taught, the child isn't the main focus of the film. It gets mired in describing the parents' marital conflict, which is primarily caused by Scott's alcoholism. If these issues hadn't been handled in such a monotonous, one-dimensional manner, that might have been acceptable.
