Bombshell is an upcoming 2019 biographical drama movie. Movie is directed by Jay Roach and written by Charles Randolph and produced by Robert Graf. It is a film about three Fox News employees who accuse the president of the chain Roger Ailes of sexual assault, and whose accusations eventually caused his professional downfall.

Story of the movie: The Bombshell is based upon real life event. The scandal happened in 2016: several female employees accused Fox News media mogul and CEO Roger Isles of being a past sexual adviser to George Bush. The case was started by former TV presenter Gretchen Carlson (played by Nicole Kidman), who confessed to being released from the channel after she refused Roger Isles. She was later joined by several other women (played by, among others, Margot Robbie and Charlize Theron). After the scandal, 76-year-old Isles resigned his post, and in 2017 he died.
Bombshell is a film focused on a genre, filtered through the unique theme of sexual harassment in the workplace, as an independent factor that affects all women equally. The fact that women in this story are painted as agitators and whistleblowers and became famous for denouncing aggressors of the opposite sex, it is obvious that there is a background of a situation that is being made known, with consequences, in these last years.
